All of our meat will be perfectly cut to guarantee the best texture and flavor. Ground meats are trimmed lean for good quality and less fat content. You get what you love by specifying the thickness of the steak you chose fresh from the freezer.
We also butcher and process livestock for many of our local farmers. Our years of experience allow us to provide meat cut to order. We cut, wrap, and promptly freeze meat for optimal freshness.
Our smoked meats are cured and smoked in our own smoke house. Every week, we make hams for all occasions, and bacon that no one can resist.
Jerky, Sausage, and Wild Game
You won't find better jerky or sausage anywhere else. Right here at Smith's, we have perfected beef, Cajun, turkey, and buffalo jerky. We have our own spices and recipes that make mouth-watering bratwurst, Polish, Italian, German, and breakfast sausages.
Hunters can have wild game processed here, too. Smith's processes wild game any way you wish. We can make jerky and sausages from your venison, elk, or wild boar.
If you bagged a trophy and want it mounted, your prize will be handled with care, and your mount will be beautiful. We can do Texas mounts for you right here, and you can pick them up when your meat is ready.

Why Grass Fed Livestock?
The meat from grass fed livestock offers many health benefits. Good fats, such as omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) are found in meat and dairy products. Both of these fats show signs of being potent weapons against cancer. Meat from grass fed livestock contains a larger amount of CLA, which may be one of the most potent cancer-fighting substances in our diet. Animal studies show a significant improvement in tumors in those with higher amounts of CLA in their diet.
Omega-3s may be the most beneficial of all the good fats because they are also linked with a lower risk of other diseases including cardiovascular disease, depression, ADHD, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, obesity, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. Omega-3s are found in the green leaves of plants and algae. Grazing animals have more omega-3s because they get omega-3s directly from the grass. Products from grass fed animals offer us more than omega-3s, because they also contain significant amounts of two "good" fats, monounsaturated oils and stearic acid, but no manmade trans-fatty acids. They are also the richest known natural source of CLA, and contain extra amounts of vitamin E and beta-carotene. Grass fed meat is lower than feedlot meat in total fat and calories, making it ideally suited for our sedentary lifestyles. Finally, farmers who raise grass fed livestock avoid the use of pesticides, herbicides, hormones, and antibiotics, lowering the chances of harmful substances in their meat products.

Buffalo meat has been endorsed by The American Diabetes Association, The American Heart Association, and American Dietetic Association for its nutritional value. Buffalo is a great alternative for our customers on a low fat, low cholesterol diets. Studies show that buffalo has many health benefits over other meats. Buffalo has less fat, calories, and cholesterol than beef, pork, or chicken. It is low in sodium, and high in minerals and vitamins, including protein and iron. Buffalo is not only good for you, but it also tastes great! We have it available freshly wrapped and frozen, conveniently packaged so you can by one steak, or as many as you need for a big family barbeque. Use ground buffalo in place of beef in chili, goulash, tacos, or any of your favorite meals.
